Hailley came on the scene a week earlier than we expected. There were no difficulties in her birth and Kupcake, her good ole mama, provides so much milk that Hailley has put on 12 lbs. in her first 3 weeks!  Her IgG was 3000 so she's a spunky and healthy little lady with lots of energy.

Hailley's sire is Cloud 9 Comet (now deceased), a medium rose grey out of the world-famous Rosario.  Many folks are familiar with another of Comet's offspring, Premier's Absolute.  Absolute (another rose gray) has made quite a name for himself both as a stud and as show winner, racking up many ribbons at shows nationwide.  He recently sold at auction for $150,000!  This is the stuff Hailley is made of! We suspect she's going to be one of the best girls on the farm and we will most probably keep her as a foundation female.

This little gal already carries herself in a queenly fashion and has evidences of beautiful fiber. For fun we took a snip of her light brown cria fiber and sent it in for a histogram with these 2006 results: AFD 17.1   SD 3.6   CV 20.9   CF 100   Curve 40.9.
